For this Box Tasting we have chosen two red wines of excellent quality, for more structured palates. Rocca Rubia, produced by the Cantina Santadi, is a Carignano del Sulcis DOC Riserva that stands out for its final hint of liquorice. On the palate it is elegant, voluminous and of great thickness. The Marchese di Villamarina from the Sella&Mosca winery in Alghero. Considered as one of the great Italian reds and one of the best Sardinian red wines, it matures in barriques for about 14 months and then in large traditional barrels for a further year. After bottling, it rests in the cellar for another 18 months. It presents itself to the palate as a structured and full-bodied wine with a warm and seductive finish.
